Tomatoes like a lot of other plants need to grow where there are lots of sun and heat. Tomatoes need soil, water, sunlight, and heat. Any where with those four, expect nice growing tomatoes.

Tomatoes were introduced by early explores to Europe, where tomatoes got the name “Apple of love” in France and Italy. Thomas Jefferson introduced tomatoes to his guests in 1781. Tomatoes weren’t used in the United States until 1835 because it was believed that tomatoes were poisonous. Tomatoes today are commonly found in Central America or Asia. (Lerner, 2010)

There are many products made by Tomatoes. Tomatoes make Sauces, Juices, and Soups. They are all made from the same types of tomato, and they all use the whole tomato. From the Plant, the red sphere is obtained and used, not the leaves and vines.

Tomatoes produced many products such as sauces, ketchup, soaps, and salads. Sometimes even used as medicine to cure a rash from poison ivy.(SPX et al., 2008) Tomato sauce and ketchup have replace tomatoes because of instead of buying tomatoes and making sauces and ketchup naturally, people buy factory made sauces and ketchups.ketchup.jpg

Tomatoes are no harmful impacts to living things, economy, environment, and/or society, but products made from tomatoes can be harmful. Factories are one of our main reasons for global warming. Many of the tomato products need to be made in factories to get to stores. Factories are a huge source of pollution. Pollution is harming our environment, which leads to the risk of getting global warming. Instead of making tomato products in stores, it would be beneficial if people begin to make some of this products at home.
